I am a 2nd year

software engineering

student at uOttawa who spends

his free time turning ideas into cool interfaces.

(HOW I WORK)

I approach every project the same way a good conversation starts… by listening.

First I gather user goals and constraints, then I sketch and prototype rapidly, iterating with accessibility and Nielsen-Norman heuristics as my guide through all of this. This portfolio is my living lab: while I’m completing a UI-design course this term, you’ll see the methods I’m practicing! User-centered design, heuristic evaluation, and rapid prototyping reflected in four upcoming case studies (a service site, a mini-game, an e-commerce experience, and a BI dashboard). Each one will document my full process.
